Fail Right!

One thing these past few months have taught is how true Murphy's Law is!

Murphy states, "if it can go wrong it will go wrong ..."
And so, this week has gone.

Pick up something, just accept you are going to drop it.
Set something down, just accept it will shortly throw itself off of the table.
Order anything off of the internet, just accept it will be lost,.
Go to be fitted with a custom boot, know that they will not have it in stock.
Do your taxes and remember all you forgot to include!
And in the mean time,
I am learning how to accept failure ....

and on the list grows!

It can be quite frustrating waiting for a return to normality ...

Last Monday And Snow

So last week, on Monday, I settled down to play with my nickels before dinner, and WHACK!

Hit by a heart attack!
BLAM!
I was down for the count!
BOOM!
A week in a hospital with no WIFI.
Sniff....

I had planned to see my cardiologist on the 12th and schedule some artery work in six weeks or six months.
But, it seems the heart chose now, rather than later.
sigh ...

So, my strange, twin front arteries are now wide open.
One was completely clogged.
The other had a clog that was swinging open and closed.
The heart apparently selected the closed feature.
It seems,
And I was down.

After surgery, they tested a few more medications on me.
Seems I am a walking pharmacy now!
So, back home.

Just in time for SNOWMAGGADEN, 2018.
Yes, Seattle is now snow bound.
With 10 more inches expected tonight!

Lord save me from weather reports!
And whiny Washington drivers.
It is not like it does not snow here at least once a year!
People just have to slow down and stop parking their cars on the freeway when they panic!
"OMG, a snowflake!"
Slams on the brakes and cranks the steering wheel hard over!
Honest!
I have seen this so many times!

Saturday, my son drove over from Renton to take me to breakfast.
He actually just wanted to drive his wife's four wheel drive SUV!
And he did really well.
Over course, on a day following a snowstorm, it was hard to find somewhere open!
Good old Denny's - always open!
