My Favorite

Without question, 1 John, is my favorite book of the Bible.
John wrote like a normal person - to normal people.
No highfalutin words.
No highfalutin concepts.
In fact, he wrote of love and Jesus.

John was one of Jesus' Twelve - The Apostles.
One of the special Three.
The "One Whom Jesus Loved".
The last Apostle to die.

He wrote one Gospel,
Three Letters,
One Apocalypse.

1 John could be called,
Living the Gospel, in our lives.

The Set Up
Jesus was real.
Jesus was physical.
Jesus died.
Jesus was and is God.

The Evidence
Written to those whom never saw, nor knew, Jesus.
John was there, he saw it all!
Tries to tell the reality of the Gospel.
More than we saw,
We touched, walked with, witnessed, learned from Jesus!

The Point
Is Jesus.
And that you will know Jesus ...
