In Traction

So, today is the second part of the foot reconstruction both the surgeon and I had hoped would not need to be addressed - but alas, I had re-broken the repaired ankle the first week out of that surgery!  Gees!  Really Kris?  I am such a pathetic klutz.

Surgery is at 9:30 in the morning so feel free to join with me in prayer, before - during - after as this will land my leg in a titanium cage, which has been anchored to the leg with two screws through the whatever bone is there.  Then up to nine rods will be run THROUGH the foot and ankle to draw the separate parts together in hopes that bone will deposit.

I will post a photo when I am recovered enough to sit up again and hopefully I will have configured my computer correctly enough to use my new WI_FI set up.

I will be in bed now for up to four months, leg elevated, bored out of my mind.

I have managed to load my computer up with 130 movies, all of the Blakes 7, all of Firefly/Serenity and a few documentaries.

And to celebrate having facial hair this year, a first in my life!, I am going to just let it grow.  Well, I can not actually stand, so shaving would be a mite difficult anyway.

And I am most earnest in seeking your, your church, everyone's prayer - there too many factors which could spell disaster here.
