To Do

So often I hear people, with poor knowledge of the Bible, claim that Christianity is just a list of Don't - and we are all just haters.  Yet, the Bible has more to do with what you should be doing, for your betterment, for other's benefit and God's glory.

Mark 6:30 - 32

The worst enemy you face as a Christian is business.  We usually know when we are too busy, but doing anything about it is all but impossible!  For us to make time means we have to do without something, some event, some party, some friend, some - what ever.  But, our culture pre-programs us for more - not less!

Study Scripture
God really wants you to do this!
God created a day of rest just for you to consider his Word.
Jesus kept the Sabbath (Saturday).
Jesus separated himself from his friends and followers for prayer, rest and time for just the 12.

Find Your Identity
Hint, it can ONLY be found in God!
What defines you?

• Who you are in Jesus
• What you do

Life is about Jesus - not you!
Stop glorifying the business of this life!

Plan For It
Free time is not going to be found on its own.
Be intentional in stopping.
Be intentional in taking time for rest.
Be intentional in refreshing yourself!
