Milestone

And so it has happened.  I have now turned 60 years old.

Never could I have ever foreseen something like this happening.
Never could I have ever thought what it might mean to live this long.
Never (outside of father) has a male lived this long in either of my families.

(But, I have to discount father for his health was gone after 42.)

And so in one regard, I travel new territory genetically.
Yeah, I still face one heart surgery, a leg surgery, a foot rebuild, etc..
Going to be a busy year!

I am determined to continue to travel the path God lays out before me.
The path that appears to be the most painful to traverse.
The path that appears to be the hardest.
The path which will cost.
But, I look forward to the meaning of new life on that path.

So a minor milestone.
A minor trail marker.
But, then I intend to live forever ... :)
