Surviving Life's Storms

Mark 4:35 - 41

As if you do not already know!, storms are no fun when they descend upon your life!
Unfortunately, you can not just watch these storms from the sidelines!
No, because you are in them, living them, being beaten up by them!

Stop Being The Victim
Storms come to everyone!
The Apostles had Jesus and yet they still found themselves in the storm!
To the Middle Eastern mind, the sea, the deep, was the realm of the dead!
It is Satan's realm ~ the seas unpredictable and the same as chaos!

Experience Matters
What we learn in one storm, becomes our basis to help us though the next one!
Storms do not mean you are being tested, being punished, no jumping to conclusions!
Of course, you may well have the storm because of disobedience to God.
If so, well time to get on your knees ...

Remember, the Apostles were where they were told to be by Jesus.
(2 Corinthians 4:8 - 9)

Choose Peace Over Panic
The Apostles focused on the storm and panicked.
Place faith over your fear!
Consider:
Psalm 27
Isaiah 41:10
