The Fourth

So it was an interesting Fourth of July.  Unlike previous years, this year, nothing happened.

Yeah, all of the kids took off and went their own way.  So no grandkidseither.

However, my mother decided I needed to have a yard sale and as expected - it was slow, very few shoppers and the sale was sort of over by noon, just lookie-loos after that.

Eh, made a few bucks, got rid of some small stuff but not even a moving box worth.  Sigh and I have MANY moving boxes.

It wore me out so badly I was in bed by 8:30 and snoring no doubt.

Of course, it was a typical Fourth otherwise: town parade, bbq's, fireworks until 3 am.  But I could not help but think of being back home in Switzerland and the opening of the Yodelers and Alphorn contests ...
